Sunny's
Trip to Tennessee
July 2002
Tishie was a little afraid to fly this year, after 9/11, but she didn't want to miss out on seeing her Dad for the summer, of course. Cat was good enough to drive with me to take her, and Evan came along for the ride, too. It was a nice little road trip, if rather 'whirlwind-esque.' We managed to stuff a lot of visiting in during a short stay, but missed a lot of things I wanted to do, of course.
Hopefully I'll be better about taking pictures when I go back down there to retrieve her in August. For now, here are a few highlights.

A wet stopover in Nashville netted us a trip to Adelphia

and lunch with Liz, also from Purple Ink.

Cat got a kick out of this sign. All he could think of was Bellevue Hospital in New York!! Of course, Bellevue Baptist Church IS responsible for a lot of my knowledge of Christianity, and of the Bible. And it's a friggin' huge place.
