Cat's Father's Day Card from the Kids 2002

Ok, so possibly it's cheesy as hell of me to keep pictures of these cards, but hey...  I never claimed NOT to be cheesy, and I've recently been described as 'kooky' so I imagine I'm entitled.

This is the card we found for Cat from the kids.  We thought it was perfect.  What made it even more funny was that when we originally found it, I was at Wal-Mart with Tish, who had it in her hand when Cat walked up behind her.  In a rare instance of sublety, Tish slid it casually back into the rack and he never noticed, and we went back and got it the next day!

Now mine was really perfect, so I had no doubt that I would want to save a picture of it!  The picture kind of sucks, so I transcribed the text below it where it's easier to read.

It reads:  "To the man I love on Father's Day.  I will love you on days when you are perfect in my eyes, and on days when I wonder why you do the things you do.  I will love you when you are the strong center that calms my fear, and when you want to rest in the comfort of my embrace.  I will love you when you are confident and proud of everything that you stand for, and when you need me to remind you how far you've come, and that there is no limit to how far you can go.  Now and forever, come what may, just as you are, I will love you."  And I added, "Couldn't have said it better myself!"  And I'm not sure I could have. :)
